Consolidated multiple redundant technology stacks, grouping into “Products”, implementing clear business outcomes metrics for each, resulting in $750K savings in support costs realized in the first six months of implementation.

Improved Sales Productivity

Restructured Salesforce leads management implementation, focusing on the three principles of increasing salesperson productivity, increasing the depth of leads enrichmentment, and the improvements in leads routing based on corporate structures and product specialties. A $750K investment over six months had a return on investment of 90 days, measured by Salesperson's ability to close leads faster.

Digital Transformation

Built a strategy to implement and adopt Contract Lifecycle Management technology from Apttus to create capabilities to proactively address upcoming renewals, and understand the total contract relationship with entities. As a result, time to contract closure rates dropped by 75% from an average of 20 business days to just under 5 for standard contracts and finance was able to reduce payment errors by 25%.

Data Driven Decisions

Developed a custom observability framework deployed to every workstation to collect performance data originating from the customer’s endpoint perspective. This resulted in the ability to triangulate client performance issues and proactively re-engineered parts of the wifi network resulting in a drop of reported performance problems by end users.

Product Insights

Working with the product team, developed an approach to join the company's three personas (viewer, creator and developer) by redefining what was considered a customer within the platform. Get To Know Kevin - Q & A

How do you prefer to work?
  • I'm an early morning person - some even say I'm early for the east coast of the US. It's my prep time, my thinking time, my quiet time, and my writing time.

  • I prefer to work with really smart people - they challenge me, make me pause and think, and sometimes can make my brain hurt.

  • I prefer to be constantly learning and evolving and will prefer to work at any place where my output is valued by others

  • I prefer to work in a servant leadership style, or more specifically, I believe the typical org chart is up-side-down. Leadership should work for those in their organizations.

What is your style of communication and preferred medium?
  • Being casual can jump-start relationships, make people feel comfortable, and can bring out your real self. Formal can help to define boundaries - what is in and out of the bucket - and set expectations.

  • Direct but not disrespectful, creating a safe environment to share and be yourself. I have opinions - so do you. We realize the value when we listen to and understand each other.

  • I prefer live and in-person because our communication is more than just your words. However, there are times when it's video or phone calls. That's OK.

  • Other mediums? I pay attention in order: live/in person, call, text, Slack, and email. One day, ask me about the "ringing telephone" syndrome.

What are your feedback preferences?
  • I operate with the mindset that Feedback is a Gift. I will take Feedback anyway you are willing to offer it - be that over any medium, with any framing. Remember, I am human, too - if the Feedback first pinches, I promise once the pinch passes, I will look and ingest your message.

What do you enjoy working on?
  • Complex problems motivate me; they make me dig in, focus, and learn. Frankly, they get me out of bed and excited to go to work.

  • Being part of someone's journey to help them grow and advocate for their success.

  • Getting my team what they need so they can do amazing things and feel the goodness of success.

What do you want to improve upon?
  • I believe in humanizing leadership because leaders are just like everyone else.

  • I am continually learning to leverage opportunities to drive great results and value. It will be a never-ending journey of learning.

  • Aligning my passion with my intent. Because there are times when my passion is heard over my intent. If I do this, please see the "feedback preferences" section - and provide me with the feedback.

What qualities do you value in your teammates?
  • Be your whole self - being anyone else is fake.

  • Build trust - it's the foundation on which everything else is based.

  • Be Transparency - hidden agendas can erode trust - which is the foundation for everything we do.

  • Build community - individuals to teams; teams to communities. Communities are driven by a common mission sustained by alignment around a shared culture.

What describes you best?
  • I am a passionate person who believes in the power of enabling people around me to realize their full potential. I believe that technology is the secret sauce to up-leveling society, thereby improving everyone's quality of life. I am results-oriented, anchored in the fact that you cannot improve what you cannot measure. I am a father, a son, a brother, a husband, and an uncle - all at once.

What are your pet peeves?
  • When people hold back. Don't hold back - be open, be yourself; it's always safe with me.

  • When there's an imbalance between meeting and focus time. I'm a big fan of DeepWork - the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively-demanding task.
